The building design, at the owner’s request,
provided a focal point for the campus and “tied” the two halves of the campus
together. The project siting and orientation
addressed both a main north-south student pedestrian route and an approaching
vehicular drive. The entry plaza offers
a gathering space for students which is easily supervised. The interior space benefits from the
utilization of natural light and the articulation of its roof structure.
